We are ornithologists and birders of every knowledge level welcoming everyone who wishes to become more involved in this wonderful hobby, plug into the Virginia birding network, and learn about the beauty and wonder of observing birds in the field.

We learn from and enjoy the shared experiences of all our members. If you aren’t already a member, we invite you to join us and start your birding adventures! Birding is a hobby (or profession!) that stretches our minds and imaginations, gets us out into nature, and is a significant source of calm and pleasure in our stressful lives.
